Looking back over a season marked by global uncertainty, the mission of WECO Uganda has remained steady and unwavering. Even during the challenges brought by the pandemic, the organization continued to serve children, families, and communities with determination and compassion. With the support of sponsors, partners, and donors, the local team remained committed to ensuring that vulnerable individuals were not forgotten during a time when many needed help the most.
Throughout this period, meaningful restoration continued to unfold within the communities served. Education support, safe housing, meals, healthcare, counseling, and community outreach remained active, helping families maintain stability and hope. These efforts demonstrated that even in difficult moments, compassion and collective commitment can continue to create real change.

As WECO Uganda continues to grow, the organization is expanding its efforts to meet deeper needs within the community. Programs are evolving to strengthen families, empower young people, and restore dignity across households. One important milestone has been the dedication of WECO Uganda Schools, created to provide young children with a strong foundation through quality early childhood education in a nurturing learning environment.
Looking Toward the Future
The vision ahead includes expanding facilities and programs to better support vulnerable children and families. Plans are underway to develop additional space that will help create a safe environment for foster families who are committed to caring for children as their own, reflecting the belief that every child deserves stability, love, and the support of a family.
