Project Clean Water
WECO Uganda launched Project Clean Water to address the urgent need for safe and reliable water in rural communities. Many families, especially in remote villages, depend on distant and unsafe water sources, which exposes them to disease and consumes valuable time that could be used for education, work, and family life.
Through this initiative, sustainable solar-powered water wells are installed to provide long-term access to clean water. These wells help restore health, dignity, and opportunity while strengthening communities and improving daily life for women, children, and families.
Sustainable Water Access
The project focuses on drilling and installing solar-powered water wells that provide a reliable and environmentally sustainable source of clean water for rural communities.
Community Health and Dignity
By reducing reliance on unsafe water sources, the project helps protect families from waterborne diseases while restoring dignity and improving overall well-being.
Partnership and Impact
The initiative is made possible through partnerships and generous support, including the installation of the first well in Luvule Village in rural Masaka, demonstrating how collaboration can transform lives and communities.
