Community Engagement & Family Empowerment Program
At WECO Uganda, support for a child does not stop at school enrollment or participation in a program. When a student becomes part of the WECO Uganda community, the commitment extends to their entire family. The program recognizes that a child cannot fully focus on learning while facing hunger, instability, or distress at home.
For this reason, the Community Engagement & Family Empowerment Program walks alongside families by offering practical support, encouragement, and guidance. By strengthening the home environment, the program helps create the stability children need to grow, learn, and thrive.
Why This Program Matters
Family stability plays a critical role in a child’s well-being and academic success. When families receive support and opportunities to grow, children are more likely to remain in school, households become more stable, and communities become stronger.
