Looking back at 2020, it stands as a year defined by resilience, compassion, and collective determination. While the world faced unprecedented challenges, the WECO Uganda community responded with generosity and unwavering support for vulnerable children and families. Through the commitment of sponsors, donors, and partners, essential services continued to reach those who needed them most, ensuring that hope remained alive even in the most uncertain times.
Because of this support, children were able to continue learning, families received stability through safe housing, and many households gained access to nutritious meals and healthcare assistance. Emotional and therapeutic care also helped children recover from trauma, while advocacy efforts ensured that the most vulnerable members of the community were protected and supported.

The challenges of the year required adaptation and courage.
